Assessments

Assessment students actually engage with.

Ten interactive question types, scheduled publishing, attempt limits, recorded proctoring and grading that flows straight into reports. One question bank feeds assignments, quizzes, exams, lectures and Live Battles.

FIG. 01The ten EdBanz question types — each one a different way of showing understanding.

§ 01—What it does

Assessments, in detail.

  1. 01

    Ten question types

Multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, brief answer, drag and drop, drag text, connect items, chronological order, click hotspot and memory game.

  2. 02

    Schedule it once

Set the publish time and deadline and EdBanz handles the rest — publishing on time, notifying students, and closing the attempt window.

  3. 03

    Recorded proctoring

When proctoring is on, the attempt is recorded and assembled into a single video for the teacher to review. Recordings are removed automatically once they pass the retention period.

  4. 04

    Rough work, kept

Students can work on a digital canvas during an attempt, so teachers see the method as well as the answer.

  5. 05

    Grading that updates everything

Objective types are scored automatically. When an attempt is graded, reports, leaderboards and coins update without anyone touching a spreadsheet.
